Tim and Lily make preparations for their big day, and by preparations they mean figuring out a way to scam the venue into getting a lavish wedding free of charge.
Things go according to plan until Tim puts some of his own scamming ideas into play. Idris has an existential crisis about the bookshop becoming a coffee shop and symbol of capitalistic greed. Triggered by the new clientele, he destroys the place and nearly misses the wedding. Ruth confronts some hard truths of her own - that she might not completely hate Idris - which is the nicest thing anyone's ever said to him.
