Escaping the fury of a wronged husband, the Colonel accepts an invitation for the Concert Party to perform in a remote corner of the North-West Frontier. Also taking his love, Mrs Waddilove-Evans, the journey soon proves difficult and when they stop for the night she is captured by native Pathans.
