Speculation grows over Inside No. 9 final episode
Speculation has been growing about the very last episode of Inside No. 9, which is set to be broadcast on Wednesday 13th June. Particularly after it was announced that there would be a special live screening 'viewing party' at which the creators and stars Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton would be present. Tickets went on sale last week for the event at the Vue West End cinema in Leicester Square and quickly sold out.

The episode resorts to lazy shock value in an underwhelming final act.
David Craig, Radio Times, 22nd May 2024Inside No. 9: Mulberry Close review
One of the most technically innovative episodes of Inside No. 9 the series has attempted, Mulberry Close is alternately suspenseful and hilarious, with a pitch-perfect final sting.

In a word: perfection.

Adrian Lobb, The Big Issue, 15th May 2024Inside No. 9: The Trolley Problem review
It's enough to say this is one of the pair's more darkly dramatic pieces. There's very little comic relief to relieve the ratcheting tension - an absurdly out-of-place reference to a certain national treasure notwithstanding - which will have you guessing till the end, certain only that this pressurised encounter is not likely to end well.
Steve Bennett, Chortle, 15th May 2024Inside No. 9: The Trolley Problem review
The Trolley Problem ending is one of the most disturbing yet.
David Craig, Radio Times, 15th May 2024Inside No. 9: The Trolley Problem review
Up there with Inside No. 9's best two handers, The Trolley Problem is an atmospheric, moody and very dark psychological thriller. Played admirably straight by both actors, it's potentially the most beautifully shot episode of the entire series.
Nick Bartlett, Critical Popcorn, 15th May 2024Inside No. 9: The Trolley Problem review
The latest Inside No. 9 is tense, dramatic and grisly, but not satisfying.
Louisa Mellor, Den Of Geek, 15th May 2024Inside No. 9: Boo To A Goose review
Inside No. 9, the series of half-hour playlets created by the demonically inventive Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, is ending after a ten-year run.
