Series 1 (2014)

The first series kicked off with the critically acclaimed Sardines episode, followed by the much talked about silent episode.

Series 1 - Online Extra (2014)

To link in with the first series, the creators wrote a seventh story, which was published online as an interactive website.

Series 2 (2015)

Series 2 focused on a train carriage, a witch trial, a call centre, a 79th birthday and a Séance. There was also a drama based episode starring Sheridan Smith.

Series 3 (2016 - 2017)

This series launched with a Christmas-themed episode. The other episodes which followed a couple of months later focused around a restaurant, a crossword puzzle, a shoe, a karaoke booth and an art gallery.

Series 5 (2020)

Another series of Inside No. 9. This one features football referees, policemen, magicians and more.

Series 7 (2022)

Six more tales, including one guest starring Mark Gatiss. From the Welsh valleys to an abandoned house, from kidnappers to detectives, and from a day trip out in a pedalo to a public information film, it's never quite what you expect.

Series 9 (2024)

From the elegance of an Edwardian country house to the grim reality of the last train home, from nosy neighbours to grave robbers, from illicit visits to the toilet to a ticking clock in a sinister escape room, this ninth collection is sure to send the series off with a bang. A deadly mixture of classical music, dubious morals and murders at midnight, Shearsmith and Pemberton present six more films to delight and disturb their many fans around the world as they open the door marked No. 9 for the final time.
