Four comedian friends compete to embarrass each another in everyday situations. Pushing each other to the limit, they take it in turns to complete embarrassing challenges. They have got to do or say everything the other jokers tell them via a hidden earpiece, but if they refuse they lose and face a humiliating forfeit. It's a ruthless fight to finish where there are no winners, just a loser... who has to do a big forfeit.
The programme is based on the hit US TV series, which was USA network TruTV's number one season premiere.
The contestants taking part in the pilot episodes (screened as part of the BBC's Feed My Funny pilots season) were: Team A: Eric Lampaert, Joel Dommett, Nathan Caton and Paul Sweeney; Team B: Marek Larwood, Paul McCaffrey, Roisin Conaty and Carl Donnelly. The scenarios used during the two pilots included trying to get people to sign petitions for dodgy causes; asking odd market research questions; and giving members of the public suspect massages in a shopping centre. As a forfeit for losing, Eric Lampaert and Marek Larwood had to stand up and say some embarrassing things in a busy restaurant.
The full series focus on Roisin Conaty, Marek Larwood, Joel Dommett and Paul McCaffrey. The Jokers push boundaries in the hairdresser, try to get complete strangers to kiss them, get tasteless in a taste test and even attempt to get customers in a boot when they work in a car showroom. They trade insults, blushes and behave very badly as they all try to avoid the shockingly funny losers punishment.
