Don is bereft when he discovers that Brian is planning to propose to Sam. He can't shake his melancholy mood and Eddie suggests that he sees a therapist. Don finds it difficult to open up at first but when he does a different side to him starts to emerge. Don takes his therapist into his confidence and confesses his feelings for Sam, as well as some slightly unsavoury habits...

Meanwhile, it's Brian's birthday and Sam decides to throw a fancy dress party to celebrate. Don is unnerved when he discovers that his therapist has come along in costume. Desperate to ensure that his secrets don't get out, Don tries to have a quiet word. However, things get confusing when Don tries to track down his therapist among the costumed party-goers.
