Shoo focuses her attentions on new beau Dean. However, trouble comes calling when a jealous Ronan snaps after seeing Shoo kiss Dean. A fight erupts between the feuding local lads until an enraged Josie breaks it up.

Convinced that Shoo's latest love affair is potentially problematic for the gang, Ellie tells her to call time on the romance before she gets in too deep.

However, when Shoo discovers a mobile phone in the hotel grounds, she innocently uses it to call Dean, not realising that it belongs to his missing brother, Billy McKenzie. Her discovery has serious consequences as Gil arrests Dean - believing he knows the whereabouts of his brother, the prime suspect for the murder of local girl Katie.

In an attempt to clear Dean's name, Shoo anonymously hands the phone in at the police station. Ellie is outraged at Shoo's stupidity - it has their DNA all over it and their secret identities are now in jeopardy.

The women continue to try to legitimately obtain new passports but it proves trickier than expected. Trying to boost the hotel's business, Sadie suggests they cater for Gil and Ann Marie's forthcoming wedding, an idea which leaves a bad taste in the girls' mouths and isn't embraced by the bride-to-be.

To make matters worse, awkward hotel guest Mr Laing turns out to be an Environmental Health Officer who threatens to close down the hotel, but Ellie suspects foul play.

Back at Gil's, Ann Marie has been playing detective and uncovered some home truths about Ellie's identity, which she delights in sharing with her law-enforcement fiance.
