After Fran has a secret meeting with a private investigator Jamal to dig up dirt on Kat, she and Jamie shop for their last hit together. Fran seems surprisingly upbeat about the end of their professional partnership, clearly convinced that she will be able to expose Kat to Jamie. But when Jamal discovers nothing, the guilt kicks in and Fran and Jamie get emotional as they take out their final hit - gobby spa owner and human trafficker Siobhan.

After Fran has a secret meeting with a private investigator Jamal to dig up dirt on Kat, she and Jamie shop for their last hit together. Fran seems surprisingly upbeat about the end of their professional partnership, clearly convinced that she will be able to expose Kat to Jamie. But when Jamal discovers nothing, the guilt kicks in and Fran and Jamie get emotional as they take out their final hit - gobby spa owner and human trafficker Siobhan. Fran and Jamie head to Kat's mansion for a party - the soft launch of her latest book - where Fran has to endure being cold shouldered by Kat and her friends.

She decides to leave as she's off to Japan early the following morning, hen Jamal sends through his findings. Fran interrupts Kat's speech to reveal what she believes to be the smoking gun - Kat owns the company that demolished Jamie's flat, paving the way for Jamie to move in with her.

Kat confesses that it's true, but that it was a coincidence and she's been trying to make amends ever since. The crowd applaud, won over by this show of contrition, and Fran is left looking like a villain, not least when she reveals she hired a PI. Shocked, Jamie asks Fran to leave but Kat follows her and invites her back, in an apparent attempt at peace-making. But instead of taking her back to the party, she leads her down to a basement room. Inside the room, confronted by a wall of defaced pictures of herself, Fran realises the true depth of Kat's psychosis before she's knocked out cold.
