Further details
It's Sunday and Becky and Steve are bored. Their fridge is broken and Becky's parents are coming round to fix it. Steve has never met them before and he's terrified.
When they arrive, he's over-friendly and, frankly, a bit odd. Matters are only made worse by Dan, who's audibly enjoying himself upstairs with his new girlfriend, Paris. At least he says she's his girlfriend.
Characters introduced this episode:
More fun than Steve's parents, Nigel and Jill are happy with their lot. They're honest to the point of rudeness, though.
Jill is kind and rather empty-headed, like Laura, while Nigel is harsher and meaner - more alpha, like Becky. He has to be polite when they meet Steve. They, too, are putting on a front of "niceness" around others.
Paris is Dan's "girlfriend" - actually, a professional prostitute who has no desire to make small talk with Becky and Steve or indulge Dan in anything remotely close to romance.

Dan's New 'Girlfriend' Paris
Has the impossible happened? Has Dan finally found a soul mate that can see past the dirty teeth, dubious personal hygiene and the dodgy web activity to the caring man within? Maybe, but something about Dan's girlfriend 'Paris' would indicate otherwise.
Featuring: Sarah Solemani (Becky), Russell Tovey (Steve), Joe Wilkinson (Dan) & Lizzie Roper (Paris).
