Cheeky Reece unexpectedly becomes friends with "posh muppet" Christopher at the start of the new school year. Reece lives with his mum Jodie - he's grown up not knowing who his dad is.

G'wed. Christopher (Jake Kenny-Byrne)

Christopher

Played by: Jake Kenny-Byrne

Following the death of his mother, Christopher has moved to Liverpool to live with his gran. With his 'posh' accent and desire to dress smart, he initially struggles to fit in and make friends at school, but then makes an unlikely alliance with Reece.

G'wed. Connor (Max Ainsworth)

Connor

Played by: Max Ainsworth

Connor is one of the gang of boys. He often talks about how much he loves women's arses... and he would be particularly keen to spend time with Reece's mum.... as he often tells Reece.

G'wed. Ted (Dominic Murphy)

Ted

Played by: Dominic Murphy

Ted is part of the group of lads at the centre of the show. He is gay, and looking for his first true love.

G'wed. Mo (Zak Douglas)

Mo Fassi

AKA: Mo Fassi.  Played by: Zak Douglas

Mo completes the male friendship group. He pretends to be religious to try and get Ella Grace interested in going on a date with him.

G'wed. Aimee (Amber Harrison)

Aimee Morris

Played by: Amber Harrison

Aimee wants to be an actor, and looks set to take the lead role in the school's next Shakespeare production, appearing alongside Christopher. There's clearly chemistry between the two leads... which is causing Christopher problems, as Aimee's ex-boyfriend is Lewis. Aimee has been quietly dealing with issues at home.. her dad has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Mia-Louise Turner

AKA: Mia-Louise Turner.  Played by: Gemma Barraclough

Mia-Louise and Aimee are good friends - they can often be seen teasing Mr Dunn. Mia-Louise is hoping to take her relationship with Ziad to the next level soon.

G'wed. Ella Grace, The Brimble (Evie Ward-Drummond)

Ella Grace aka The Brimble

Ella Grace is a go-getting organiser. She's very keen to be woke, environmentally friendly, and generally have a positive impact in society... although she is also quite gullible, something the other pupils sometimes exploit.

G'wed. Ziad (Malek Alkoni)

Ziad

Played by: Malek Alkoni

Ziad is from Libya. He initially pretends not to speak English, to help him look mysterious and attract the romantic interest of Mia-Louise. His religious beliefs means he won't have sex before marriage... something he is worried will impact on his relationship.

G'wed. Jodie (Leanne Best)

Jodie

Played by: Leanne Best

Jodie is Reece's fun-loving easy-going mum. She works at the school as a dinnerlady. She has raised Reece by herself, as his father was just a one night stand.

G'wed. Pat (Jemma Churchill)

Grandma Pat

Played by: Jemma Churchill

Pat is Christopher's grandmother. She keeps walking in on Reece and her grandson in what looks like compromising positions... but it is just Reece winding Christopher up.

G'wed. Lewis (Paddy Rowan)

Lewis Connolly

AKA: Lewis Connolly.  Played by: Paddy Rowan

Lewis is the school thug. He is always up for a scrap... and has his eyes set on beating up Christopher, as - even though Aimee dumped him - he doesn't like how much time Christopher is spending with his ex.

G'wed. Mr Dunn (Philip Shaun McGuinness)

Mr Dunn

Mr Dunn is the English and Drama teacher at the school. The pupils run rings around him, especially Aimee and Mia-Louise who prey on his desire to do and say the right thing in terms of political correctness.
