Growing Up Scottish is a wry, sideways look at growing up Scottish in Scotland, with all the highs, lows and soggy bits that entails; recalling the moments that shape us; make us, break us and put us back together. Scotland's entertainers embark on a voyage into their formative years; thanking Scotland for everything it's done for them whilst also apportioning some blame. Observations and half-remembered stories fuse with archive and the music we love, to create an oddball social history we can all relate to.
Catch-up
Series 1 was originally broadcast under the title Scotland Made Me..., but relaunched as Growing Up Scottish - and reordered - following the Christmas special.
