Robert Dex, The Scotsman, 19th October 2012Graham Norton: interview
He's a huge star - but Graham Norton seems perpetually surprised by his success. As he approaches 50, he talks to Gerard Gilbert about nearly becoming a rent boy, why he thinks Raquel Welch is a 'grumpy old bitch', and how he's happier out of the limelight.
Gerard Gilbert, The Independent, 19th October 2012Graham Norton interviews... himself
From not making it in America to a lack of celebrity friends - the king of Friday night chat leaves no stone unturned.
Graham Norton, Radio Times, 19th October 2012Britain's chat-show king is back with a new series of bawdy chat. Sassy Norton is expert at getting guests to laugh at themselves, so it should be fun to see him face up to actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, fresh from the release of his cunningly titled autobiography Total Recall. American R'n'B singer Usher also pitches up on the sofa, alongside Miranda Hart[ and Ronnie Corbett.
Toby Dantzic, The Telegraph, 18th October 2012Graham Norton: I won't have surgery on my eye bags
Graham Norton says he will never have surgery to get rid of his eye bags - as he doesn't want to end up looking like the "Chinese ambassador's gay brother".
The Sun, 9th October 2012Graham Norton defends modern chat shows
TV star Graham Norton has hit back following Michael Parkinson's criticism of the current generation of chat show hosts, and bemoaned the rise of "goody goody" dramas.
Sherna Noah, The Independent, 9th October 2012Graham Norton 'taking second pay cut'
A BBC report has said the broadcasting giant will be reducing pay for some of its top earners, including Jeremy Paxman and Graham Norton - the latter's second pay cut in three years.
Sarah Deen, Metro, 14th July 2012I recently attended a Graham Norton Show recording, so I can bear witness that it's a brilliantly slick operation and Norton is a master of audience-wrangling, winning us all over immediately and making us feel a big part of the show - though not bigger than the array of guests, who we'll see again in this end-of-series compilation.
Remember Madonna, being her usual steely and scary self, despite Norton's efforts to try to get her to loosen up a bit? And what of the great Sir David Attenborough, all soft and mooning, not over a gorilla, but a comely young woman - actress Cameron Diaz? Just watch his face as he hangs on her every single word.
We also see again Dame Judi Dench, Hugh Grant, Katy Perry and the voluble, unstoppable force that is Will Smith.
Alison Graham, Radio Times, 6th July 2012Graham Norton's best bits are trotted out for another viewing in a compilation episode, and there are plenty of them. The BBC's king of chat (and Telegraph agony uncle) has managed this series to enjoy light-hearted badinage with an increasingly impressive array of A-listers. He even managed to loosen Madonna up. Also worth revisiting tonight are chats with Judi Dench, Hugh Grant, Will Smith, Cameron Diaz and Katy Perry. It's a long time and a lot of sport until October, so enjoy the banter.
