Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez talk about Emilia Pérez; Miranda Hart reveals how she prayed for a husband; Ncuti Gatwa talks about performing at the National; Kevin Kline reminisces about his debut film; and Rag'n'Bone Man performs live in the studio.

Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez talk about their new musical comedy drama Emilia Pérez.

Asked to describe the film, Zoe says, "All I can tell you is that it is provocative, audacious, and brave. It's a breath of fresh air, it's camp and sexy, and it is important."

Graciously talking about the film's lead Karla Sofia Gascón, she says: "She is an amazing actress and knocked it out of the ballpark. She was superb and all we did was to try and keep up. The recognition we received at the Cannes festival as an ensemble was a dream come true. We were not expecting it."

Selena adds, "I couldn't be more proud to stand by Karla because she could make history. She is an incredible woman."

Talking about her Emmy-nominated role in Only Murders In The Building and asked what it was like working with Steve Martin and Martin Short, Selena jokes, "At first I was very nervous until I realised they are about as mature as an 18-year-old boy!" Adding, "They have become true friends to me, and it is a pleasure to work with them. I keep them up to date with music and they teach me things like what it was like in the 50s!"

Ncuti Gatwa, talking about rehearsing for The Importance of Being Earnest at the National Theatre, says, "We started this week, and we are still sitting at a table dissecting the script. It is very silly, fun and camp - it is a traditional production infused with a modern lens."

Asked if he enjoyed dancing as a Ken with Ryan Gosling in the Barbie themed Oscars' routine, he says, "I was having the time of my life. It was so much fun. If you watch the performance, I actually got all the moves wrong but had such a good time."

Talking about Doctor Who, he says, "It is all going well. We did the second series this year, the Christmas special is coming up, and we are filming a third series next year." And, on his recent trip to Comic Con, he says, "It was incredible - it was like nerds' Olympics. It was intense but beautiful and Whovians are the sweetest and best fans."

Miranda Hart, talking about her funny and revealing memoir I Haven't Been Entirely Honest with You, jokes about competition on the bookshelves this week, "Boris Johnson's book is out and here's my thinking... Mine's called, I Haven't Been Entirely Honest with You and his is called Unleashed. We definitely need to swap!"

Selena becomes very emotional as Miranda reveals she was an inspiration for writing her book, "I watched Selina's documentary (My Mind And Me) and it gave me the courage to be vulnerable and share my feelings about my disease. It kept me writing.

"The book is not just about illness; it is about how I learnt to live well and free with joy and meaning despite my circumstances. I now feel I can be in the world as me. I feel fully free, if not fully recovered."

Talking about her new husband, she says, "I had my diagnosis during the pandemic, and it was a very lonely time, so I decided I didn't want to be alone anymore, so I put out this little prayer with about one percent of hope, but I met someone and got married in July."

And on the wedding itself, she reveals, "It was a very small gathering and for no reason at all it was Hawaiian themed with inflatable flamingos, coconut bowling and a steel band."

Kevin Kline joins Graham for a chat about his new psychological thriller series Disclaimer and his career.

Asked if it is true he turns down most parts he is offered, he says, "I'm not offered most things. I don't do everything I am offered and sometimes I talk myself out things. I turned down two movies before Sophie's Choice.

"I recently went to the 40th anniversary of the film with Meryl Streep. She was fantastic to work with and held my hand throughout the filming of the movie and taught me to be real. It is a brilliant film and still holds up."

Talking about A Fish Called Wanda, he says: "I had no idea it was going to be so good, but I did have the time of my life. I had a ball. Lots of friends told me not to do it because it was Monty Python and English humour. I thought, 'comedy is comedy.'"

Asked about the inspiration for his new album he says, "I was trying to figure out how to tell my children about the death of my mother and realised that no matter what you believe it is about the collective love we have for each other and how we get through it as a family."
