Further details
Olivia Colman, asked about the plot line for Series 2 of ITV's hit drama Broadchurch, jokes, "It's awkward being here - we can't say anything and I can't remember anything!"
Told that Series 3 has been announced, they both say with some surprise, "Has it? Not to us!" Asked, if there is a third series, whether their characters will get together because of the sexual tension between them, Olivia says disbelievingly, "You think? I haven't seen that." David adds, "I don't think that is obvious."
Talking about the filming of the second series in a location that is now well known, David says, "It was tricky because people knew what they were looking for this time and we attract a certain amount of attention. You are very aware when you are out doing a scene on the beach or at the end of the pier that there are people licking ice creams two feet away from you! I think, 'I can't say this loudly or it's all going to be given away."
Asked how close to the end of Series 1 they knew who the murderer was, Olivia reveals, "I knew. I asked at my first audition and they told me and then they called me an hour later and said, 'We're not going to do it that way, no body is going to know so you're not allowed to know.' So I kept the secret."
David adds, "About half way through Series 1 I was talking to my agent about something and she said, 'So no one knows?' and I said, 'No, absolutely no body knows' and she said, 'So it's just Olivia that knows?' I was like, 'Olivia doesn't know, we've spent weeks together, we've discussed who it might be and we've taken bets on who the killer is.' She kept that secret brilliantly for months." Olivia interjects, "He was so angry when he found out I knew!"
Harvey Weinstein, talking about his contribution to Hollywood, says, "I have been very aggressive and passionate in breaking the stranglehold the big studios had on the Oscars."
Asked what happened to the first of the many, many Oscars he has won, he says, "My kids preferred to watch Annie on the night so in my acceptance speech I thanked my two rotten kids. The Oscar ended up next to Barbie dressed as Ken."
Talking about bringing Good Will Hunting to the screen, he says, "Everyone in Hollywood wanted Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and the film. In the meeting with them I said, 'I only have one really big note on the script. About page 60 the two leads, both straight men, have a sex scene. What the hell is that? I don't get it,' and they go, 'That's the scene we wrote to see if guys like you read the script because every studio executive we went to hadn't read it. You're the only guy who brought it up so you get the movie.'"
Adding to speculation that Dame Judi Dench really does have a tattoo on her bottom dedicated to him, Harvey says, "After she received her Oscar for Mrs Brown she took me out to dinner and said, 'I can't thank you enough, I've got a surprise for you. I didn't know what to get you, the guy that has everything.' she then dropped her trousers and revealed a tattoo on her bum that read 'JD loves HW.' I didn't know what to do or what to say!"
Jessie J talking about a tattoo she has, says "I did it ages ago and had 'Don't lose who you are in the blur of the star!' tattooed on my side. Not long after I had it done my mum said to me in tears, 'I don't know how to tell you this but it is spelt wrong.' I have 'Don't loose who you are in the blur of the stars!' It's really big which is awful. It's the reason I always wear high waisted stuff. I'm not going to put a spelling mistake that close to a camera! I'm going to get it covered and I'm not having any more tattoos."
Asked about working in the US, she says, "It's amazing, hard and incredible."
Jessie J performs Masterpiece in the studio.
