Series 1, Episode 3 - The General

General Randy Badger arrives from America on official duty. He enlists Gary and the boys, and instigates his own mission - to drink beer, see strippers and find his Scottish ancestors, the McBadgers. Hoo ya.

Further details

Gary collects an American General, Randy Badger, from the airport, and is assigned to help him with his 'Cross International Home Stationed Strategic Planning' mission. But Gary soon learns that it's a front for General Badger's real mission - to find his Scottish ancestors.

A trip to Ardrossan proves emotional for the General as he searches for the McBadgers, and a feeling of being home. Thomson is unimpressed by Gary taking a respected high ranking military official on day trips to the seaside, and orders the boys to take him on a night hike. But the General has other ideas, namely going to the centre of town, getting very drunk and having the time of his life. Gary and the boys go along to keep an eye on him, something that proves increasingly hard to do.
