HIGNFY USA presenter Roy Wood Jr to guest host UK version
Roy Wood Jr, the host of the new American version of Have I Got News For You, is also going to front the BBC One version on Friday 8th November.
The US comic will guest host the UK show on the show in the week of the US election taking place.
He says: "Thank you to the HIGNFY team for giving me gainful employment as a TV presenter in England, a country that I hear has no issues whatsoever with immigration! To seek asylum in England, one must have left their country of origin due to a well-founded fear of persecution. Depending on which way the Presidential election goes in America, I might be hanging around England for a while."
Joining Ian Hislop and Paul Merton on the show that Friday will be Richard Osman and Roisin Conaty, making their 18th and 14th appearances respectively.

The UK version continues tomorrow (Friday 18th October) with Episode 3 of Series 68. Professor Hannah Fry hosts, with Phil Wang and Carol Vorderman as the guests.
Charlie Brooker will host Episode 4, Jo Brand is set to host Episode 5, and Episode 6 is Roy Wood Jr's episode.
