Dinosaur receives four nods in BAFTA Scotland Awards
Dinosaur, the new sitcom written by Matilda Curtis and Ashley Storrie, has been nominated four times in the BAFTA Scotland Awards.
The programme itself is nominated in the Television Scripted category alongside the dramas Float and Shetland, with Curtis and Storrie up for the Best Writer prize. Storrie is also in the running for an acting award, for playing the lead role of Nina, and the show's director, Niamh McKeown, has been recognised in the Director category.
Also featured in the shortlists are acting nods for David Tennant for his role in There She Goes and Two Doors Down stars Doon Mackichan and Elaine C. Smith. Shirley Henderson is nominated for her film appearance in The Trouble With Jessica.
Susan Calman features in the Best Entertainment category for her TV show Susan Calman's Grand Day Out and Extraordinary Escapes With Sandi Toksvig appears in the Features category.
Richard Gadd has been nominated in the writing category and an acting category for his hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer.
The results will be announced at a ceremony in Glasgow on Sunday 17th November. A full list of nominations across all categories can be seen via bafta.org
