Paul Chowdhry to film stand-up special for Sky
Sky is recording a version of Paul Chowdhry's Family-Friendly Comedian stand-up show for broadcast as a special.
The producers confirm: "Multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, actor and writer Paul Chowdhry will be bringing his highly acclaimed hit show Family-Friendly Comedian to London's Bloomsbury Theatre on Sunday 20th October. This will include a very special intimate early and late performance which will be filmed exclusively for Sky TV."
The ironically titled Paul Chowdhry: Family-Friendly Comedian toured between 2021 and 2023, a run which featured three extensions due to "overwhelming demand". The show culminated in a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023.
Family-Friendly Comedian followed on from his previous tour Live Innit, which aired as a special on Amazon in 2019. His first special, What's Happening White People?, was shown on Channel 4 in 2013.
