Elsewhere in the nominations, Russell Brand: In Plain Sight features in the Best Single Documentary category; Ncuti Gatwa is up for Best Actor for his role in Sex Education and Daisy May Cooper has been recognised for her acting in Rain Dogs.

Such Brave Girls creator Kat Sadler is up for Best Writer and also shortlisted for the BPG Breakthrough Talent Award.

Meanwhile the BPG Emerging Creators Award features Amelia Dimoldenberg (Chicken Shop Date), presenter GK Barry and Juice creator Mawaan Rizwan.

A full list of nominations across all categories can be seen via broadcastingpressguild.org. The winners will be announced via a ceremony on Thursday 21st March.

The Broadcasting Press Guild, which is comprised of journalists who write about TV and radio shows, marks its 50th anniversary this year. As part of its celebrations, it has invited its members to select a list of the Top 50 Landmark TV Programmes, which will be revealed on 12th March.
