BBC Asian Network Comedy to visit Glasgow
The BBC's next Asian Network Comedy night will be in Glasgow on 29th February. The city's Glee club will host the comedy showcase.
As with previous shows in the format, the gig will be recorded to be broadcast on the BBC Asian Network radio station and made available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Hosted by Noreen Khan and Lubna Kerr, the night will feature a line-up including Don Biswas, Joshua Bethania, Faizan Shah, Pravanya Pillay and Sabina.
Noreen Khan says: "I am so excited about co-hosting the BBC Asian Network comedy night in Glasgow! The Glaswegian audience will absolutely love the line-up and they're always up for a good laugh!"
Lubna Kerr comments: "I am thrilled that BBC Asian Network are having their comedy night in Glasgow, a city of culture, colour and curries. Delighted and excited to be co-hosting the show with the wonderfully talented Noreen Khan, alongside a brilliant line-up of fantastic Asian comedians on the circuit, I canny wait."
