Big Fat Quiz to return for 2023 and Telly specials
Jimmy Carr is set to host The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year for Channel 4 again this December, and also a new spin on the format too, The Big Fat Quiz Of Telly.
The long-running panel show launched in 2004, and this year's 2023 special will be recorded on Monday 4th December in London (Free tickets).
The blurb says: "Who was the real star of the King's Coronation? Who went viral for wearing a puffer jacket? Were you team Barbie or Oppenheimer? All these questions and more will be answered in The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year 2023. Question master Jimmy Carr is joined by celebrity teams as they battle it out to see who knows the most about the year that's been. Helping Jimmy ask the big questions are Charles Dance, the children of Mitchell Brook Primary School and a whole host of celebrity question setters looking back at 2023."
Following on from The Big Fat Quiz Of Sport earlier in the year, another themed-special will also be recorded. The Big Fat Quiz Of Telly will see Carr asking questions about television shows.
The producers explain: "What got Downton fans all in a tizz? What does TARDIS stand for? Why was Nadine Coyle booted off Popstars and what caused the Bake Off scandal 'Bingate'? All these questions and more will be answered as the Big Fat Quiz takes on television. Jimmy Carr is quizzing some of the UK's biggest comedians to see who knows the most about the world of telly, with appearances from Charles Dance, the children of Mitchell Brook primary school and a whole host of celebrity question setters."
The Big Fat Quiz Of Telly will be recorded on Monday 20th November at Television Centre. Free tickets
The panel line-ups for both shows will be revealed nearer broadcast.
