The Cleaner Series 2 guest stars
Guest stars appearing alongside Greg Davies in the second series of his crime scene cleaner sitcom The Cleaner have been revealed.
Co-written by and starring Davies as specialist cleaner Paul 'Wicky' Wickstead, the series will return for a further six episodes later in the spring.
The BBC tease: "Armed again with his chemicals, scrubbing brushes and cleaning rags, Wicky removes more gruesome remains at the scenes of new crimes, including in a theatre, an electrical goods store, and a stately home. It is here he meets some more unusual characters and gets sucked into their worlds as he can't help but gossip as he cleans, all the while trying to get down to the pub."
Based on a long-running, award-winning German series, the guest stars for Series 2 are: Zoë Wanamaker, Asim Chaudhry, Harriet Walter, Simon Callow, John MacMillan, Alex Lawther, Susannah Fielding, Roisin Conaty, Mark Lewis Jones, Rudi Dharmalingam, Joshua McCord, Louis Emerick, Amy Morgan, Charlie Rawes, Jemma Carlton, Shakin' Stevens, Rebecca Lee and Cassius Thompson.
Zita Sattar will also returning in her semi-regular role of PC Ruth Edwards.
