Everyone Else Burns sets All 4 viewers on fire
Channel 4 has revealed its new comedy Everyone Else Burns has pulled in viewers by the masses, becoming All 4's biggest comedy launch since Derry Girls in 2018.
Launching on Monday 23rd January, the entire series was made immediately available to stream on All 4, becoming the most viewed new All 4 comedy boxset in its first week.
Everyone Else Burns is an irreverent new comedy set in a fictional Christian community and centred around a family headed by patriarch David (Simon Bird). David, like his family (played by Kate O'Flynn, Amy James-Kelly and Harry Connor), is devoted to preparing for Armageddon and avoiding eternal damnation, although worldly temptations sometimes get in the way.
BCG recently interviewed writers Dillon Mapletoft and Oliver Taylor about creating the show. Talking about the doomsday cult setting, they said: "We loved the combination of naturally high narrative stakes. Because if you're extremely religious, everyday scenarios mean different things to you." Read interview
