An investigation in how riches can be made by the jokers who can master the particular skills required to keep audiences on board cruisers entertained.
Cameras follow novice comic Jimmy O as he makes his very first cruise and tries to learn the ropes as quickly as possible.
With contributions from old hands Nicholas Parsons and Tom O'Connor, who have managed to steer a course through the dangerous waters of comedy at sea, which is acknowledged by all who have tried it as the toughest job in comedy.
