It's evening at Seriously Fried Chicken. Joe and Amara are at the tills when Mary, Ed, Shontal and Derek come in dressed very smartly. They are attending the Seriously Fried Chicken Awards, where Mary is hoping to win Most Improved Restaurant.
Joe and Amara are to stay behind to man the shop. As the gang leave, Ed locks Amara and Joe in the freezer, hoping this will prompt Joe to make his move.
