Further details
Nervous at first, Kingsley embraces the challenge head on but is undermined by a peculiar performance tic he has whereby his neck juts back and forwards while he's singing, making him look like a turkey.
Oregon steps in to become the band's front man for the next gig. But her catchy, toe-tappy, Radio 2 pop sensibilities are totally at odds with Kingsley's: he wants to write atonal mini rock epics that you can't dance to.
When she is not invited to attend a poetry seminar by the renowned poet John Frobisher, Vod is determined to gate-crash it, which she then does and promptly befriends the great man himself.
Notes
Ember To A Flame written by Dot Allison and Christian Henson.
The Implodium Implodes written and performed by Graham Coxon.
Additional lyrics by Jon Brown.
