Sarah Kendall's Anglo-Aussie sitcom about a widowed mother marooned in her home town was hard to warm to at first, perhaps because of its soapy 80s setting. It has, however, proved itself to be very funny. This week sees Sammy (Kendall) assume the persona of a rich British investor to help boss Chris.
