The arrival of Noughties heart-throb Arnie Rivers at the comedy club further knocks Mae's confidence in her faltering relationship, as it turns out that George had posters of him on her bedroom wall as a teenager. When Arnie encourages Mae to be as honest as possible on stage, it catapults her career into the big time - but simultaneously collapses her relationship with George.
