The arrival of rebellious young priest Father Damien Lennon coincides with the theft of a whistle belonging to Mr Benson, the picnic area supervisor. Suspicion, however, falls upon Ted.

The arrival of rebellious young priest Father Damien Lennon coincides with the theft of a whistle owned by the picnic area supervisor. As law and order breaks down on Craggy Island, the local police reach a bold conclusion - a priest done it.

Both Ted and Dougal fall under suspicion, and for a while it looks like things could go badly for them. Finally, however, Damien confesses to the deed, leaving the boys in the clear and providing a valuable lesson.

From which Dougal learns absolutely nothing.
