Don't Drink The Water - The Complete Series

Don't Drink The Water - The Complete Series

This sequel to On The Buses follows the further misfortunes of the newly retired Inspector Blake (Stephen Lewis), erstwhile scourge of the Luxton Bus Company Depot. Dreaming of peace and quiet, sun and senoritas, he's decided to warm up the autumn of his days in a little flat in Spain that the glossy brochures have lured him into buying with his life's savings - so beginning a whole new series of mishaps that could happen only to Blakey. The water's undrinkable, the food's 'orrible, the plumbing's dodgy...and it's full of foreigners!

Also starring Pat Coombs (as Blakey's long-suffering sister Dorothy) and Derek Griffiths, Don't Drink The Water was created by Ronald Wolfe and Ronald Chesney - the writing team behind the phenomenally successful predecessor, On The Buses, and whose comedy credits also include Educating Archie, Meet The Wife and The Rag Trade.

This 2-disc set contains both series, originally broadcast in 1974 and 1975.

Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.

If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.

If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
