Further details
The Portwenn Surgery is open again but things aren't running as smoothly with new receptionist, Max Foreman behind the desk.
James has befriended a stray dog, calls him 'Chicken' and invites him in at any opportunity. With Martin and Louisa both now working from the surgery it feels a bit cramped, so Louisa arranges a viewing when she learns her childhood dream home, West Cliff House, is on the market, after owner George Upton comes to see Martin with a head injury.
PC Joe Penhale is called to West Cliff House for a second time on account of noise complaints, but this time he wonders if there is more to it. Could George's accidents be because of supernatural forces. There is an accident at Paradise Caravan Park too, thwarting Bert's dream of having the caravan park up and running as soon as possible. Al has an accident of his own when Julie, his employee, accidentally stabs him.
Meanwhile, Morwenna realises that the cut-throat nature of being an estate agent is not for her when she is more worried about George than making the sale of the property.
