Dave Allen: God's Own Comedian

One-hour special documentary celebrating the life and career Dave Allen.

Featuring rare, often previously unseen, archive and interviews with family, friends and colleagues, Dave Allen Night celebrates one of the BBC's most-loved stars.

Together with Dave's eldest son, daughter and widow, other interviewees include Dame Maggie Smith, Val Doonican, Stephen Frears and Steven Berkoff, as well as archive interviews which Sir Bill Cotton conducted shortly before he passed away.

And the cast and crew of Dave Allen At Large, his best-known, long-running show - from writers to designers, are to be reunited at BBC Television Centre one last time before the building closes its doors, to talk about their memories of working with Dave.
