Redecorating the factory floor for Christmas, Smelly laments the impending lack of a Queen's Speech this year. Norman is quick to denounce Christmas as a capitalist racket, but Kevin puts him straight.
Soon, the entire workforce are deep in debate about the history, point and benefits of the festival; religious teachings; the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Pope; and of course - the pill! But there's still the annual Christmas party to get through.
