Further details

The Ctrl Freaks seize the social networks of wannabe presenter Adam and comedy nerd Greg, taking their passions to excruciating extremes.

Handsome 23-year-old Adam Gibbs is a smiley presenter and model, with some cheesy photo shoots under his belt and an advice-giving YouTube channel. His Insider Alice says that underneath his self-tan and whitened teeth, he takes his presenting career seriously and sees his YouTube videos as a way of getting himself out there - his dream is to be a daytime TV presenter. The comedians decide to turn Adam into the worst presenter in the world.

His opponent is 22-year-old animator and comedy enthusiast, Greg Holgate. A self-proclaimed nerd, he produces wacky comedy videos with his comedy partner, Insider Will Howes. They have their own YouTube channel full of 'middle class' sketches. Will informs the Ctrl Freaks that Greg hides behind his comedy characters and hates being put on the spot - music to the Ctrl Freaks' ears. Greg will need to take on extreme characters with no time to prepare...

The Challenges

The Ctrl Freaks are turning Adam into the presenter from hell and they have the perfect target for his first challenge - his own YouTube show. He must present a new episode titled 'How To Lick Yourself Clean', where he will demonstrate his new skincare regime. Adam warms himself up and prepares to lick himself - but will it convince his followers when the video is uploaded?

Meanwhile, Greg is psyching himself up for his challenges - he really wants this holiday. The Ctrl Freaks will be making him take on three uncomfortable characters, and so post his first task on Facebook - he must perform his first solo comedy gig in the character of Jesus. In costume and reading up on the Bible, a terrified Greg is called onstage by the compere. Will he fall flat or wow the crowd? The video of his set is posted on Facebook - with some confused reactions from his friends.

With his 'How To Lick Yourself Clean' video getting a lot of attention online, Adam attempts his second challenge. The Ctrl Freaks are turning him into a 'bastard' of a presenter - getting him to interview members of the public, admitting to some heinous acts. Throughout the day, he's tweeted questions to ask strangers - including 'I laugh at horrific events on the news - is that weird?' He even manages to stop a passing Lorraine Kelly - but must admit to her that he drinks human blood. Are members of the public convinced? His friends are horrified but are beginning to believe him...

Greg's second character is even further away from his personality than Jesus. His Insider Will informed the Ctrl Freaks that Greg knows nothing about sport, so they challenge him to play Greg the Gunner - 'the world's biggest Arsenal fan'. After a shaky start (with Greg unsure whether Arsenal is a football team) and some speedy research online, he must survive an interview with the Sports Editor of the Independent, Matt Gatward. Will the professional journalist see through Greg's Mockney accent and shaky football knowledge?

With the final challenges looming, the Ctrl Freaks decide to finish off with a bang. Adam has to interview radio legend Scott Mills - his dream job! But he must ask questions tweeted to him by the comedians. Nervous and very excited, Adam finds himself asking more and more insulting questions, such as 'When will you make anything that's actually good?' With Scott getting more irritated and his friends watching via a live stream, can Adam retain his composure?

Greg's final challenge sees him take on his toughest character - himself. He finds out he must attempt to break the world record for 'Longest Male Belly Dance Performance' in front of his friends. Shocked and speechless, Greg is terrified. But he really wants that holiday. With his friends and a world record official watching, can he keep dancing for 15 minutes or will he burn out? Can his friends even bear to watch?
