Aka Count Arthur Strong's Television Show!. A TV spin-off featuring the character at the heart of Radio 4's Count Arthur Strong's Radio Show!. Creator Steve Delaney is working with Graham Linehan and Jeremy Dyson to adapt the radio series for a Talkback Thames TV show.
The pilot episode features a smorgasbord of showbiz fun involving celebrity guests, impossible riddle rounds and of course the opportunity for contestants to Challenge Arthur and win a shed load of wonderful prizes such as exercise bikes, matching polyester bedding and modestly-sized inflatable dinghies.
Count Arthur Strong's Entertainment Game might turn out to be a nightmare for Arthur - after all, his hair-trigger temper, inability to remember important details and odd relationship with the English language are problematic in a live television environment.
2012 Update: this project morphed into a sitcom for BBC Two. Story
