Fifty years after Arkwright's first opened its doors, the country's most comical corner shop is back in business for one night only as we celebrate one of our most cherished sitcoms.

Starring the legendary partnership of Ronnie Barker as stingy shopkeeper Arkwright and Sir David Jason as his long-suffering nephew Granville, not forgetting Lynda Baron as the full-figured Nurse Gladys Emmanuel, Open All Hours is a northern powerhouse of a comedy.

Featuring interviews with stars from both the original series and its successor Still Open All Hours - including Sir David Jason, Stephanie Cole, Barbara Flynn, Maggie Ollerenshaw, Johnny Vegas and Nina Wadia - we hear about the fun of filming the show, what happened when the cameras stopped rolling, and the secret behind that snapping shop till.
