Series 1, Episode 6 - Night On The Town

Colin gets his story published in the Langley Book of Horror. Langley invites him to dinner but on the way an incident between two yobs and an old lady plays on Colin's mind.
During the meal Colin gets increasingly distracted by this incident and confesses to Langley that he's not been listening.
He tells Des about the incident but Des reveals he was faced with a similar situation and ended up in hospital trying to defend an old lady.

Colin is at work. He's supposed to attend a Euro tunnel do but ends up giving Graham a warning for skiving off work instead. Graham tells him that he's been to a job interview and that Collins sad for not moving on.

When he gets home Colin finds out his story has been accepted. He asks Jen to come around and celebrate but she has to entertain a client which causes an argument. Jen eventually cancels and goes to Colins. However Colin spoils the night by revealing he feels that they may be counting their chickens and Langley may change his mind.

Colin gets an invitation to dinner with Langley. On the way to the dinner there is an incident on the tube when an old lady confronts some yobs for playing loud music. She gets a mouthful and berates the rest of the carriage for not helping.

Over dinner Colin can't help thinking about the incident and ignores most of what Langley is saying eventually breaking down and revealing what has been on his mind.

The following day Colin and Des are in the supermarket where Des attempts to placate Colin's guilt. Later he tells Colin that he had been faced with a similar situation although he intervened and ended up in casualty. Colin tells Des to stay away.

On the way to the station the next day Colin berates himself for his inaction. On the train two lads start smoking and are told off by another passenger. Colin goes up to them and says 'Is this Kilburn?' And walks off.
