Meanwhile, the original police officer who worked the Chelsea Bridge case 20 years ago returns to act as an advisor, and he just so happens to the old school, no nonsense copper Clifford Major - John's dad.

It's an awkward reunion. The two haven't been close for a long time and the last time Major Sr. saw his son was at John's funeral. Believing that John faked his own death for an undercover case, he is completely unaware that his son is now an AI driven cyborg.
