Building Betty & Joan's

Documentary following attempts to move the Queer Comedy Club from its dishevelled venue in North London to a permanent and (eventually) perfect home in Elephant and Castle. The owners aim to establish Betty & Joan's as the go-to spot for comedy and much more.

David Ian, Kate Dale and Jeremy Topp run the UK's first permanent queer comedy club -- but their London venue is falling apart, with leaky ceilings and missing toilet locks. Now, they're taking on their biggest challenge yet: building a brand-new gay bar, Betty & Joan's.
