Further details
In an age where Britain has never been more divided and diverse, what does it even mean to be 'British' in the UK today? Darren Harriott, Fern Brady and Ivo Graham are on a mission to find out.
In this episode, they travel to the Welsh Valleys, to find out what it means to be Welsh today and ask 'Are We Speaking The Same Language?'.
Darren and Ivo get tipsy as they sample home-grown wine from the Valley's vineyards, while Fern attempts to impress Welsh indie rock band Adwaith with her own dulcet tones. They join forces again to sing with the harmonious Treorchy Male Choir, before their Welsh stay becomes slightly more surreal. Ivo attempts to get a handle on Welsh politics from local fundraiser Captain Beany, while Darren finds a form of rugby he doesn't find boring and Fern discovers the benefits of forest bathing. The three comedians get their zen-on for the final element of their stay at the Palpung Changchub Dargyeling Tibetan Buddhist Centre.
