Melchett and Blackadder are taken hostage by the dastardly German master of disguise Prince Ludwig, just hours after the Queen swore to only pay one more ransom ever. When she struggles to choose between the two, their captor decides to overthrow her and make himself King.

Further details

Edmund and Melchett are kidnapped by a German who plans to overthrow England's Queen. In a fitting end to the current series, the entire court are gruesomely, and some would argue deservedly, murdered.
