Series 1, Episode 2 - Manny's First Day

New arrival Manny is on a mission to impress as Bernard's assistant. But Bernard far from approves.

Further details

Bernard's drunken words come back to haunt him (not for the first time) as Manny enthusiastically reports for duty on his first day at Black Books. Manny proves a big hit not only with Fran and the steady stream of book-buyers, but also with Bernard's finances.

Bernard would rather stay in his musty comfort zone, urinating from his chair but unfortunately for him, the one day trial doesn't go in his favour. Unlike the assistance with wine-pouring Manny provides, which is always ungratefully received.
