Sharon is ignoring Chris, despite his constant letters from prison. Tracey tells her she needs to sort her life out.
When she eventually visits Chris, Sharon tells him that she won't divorce him, but that she doesn't want to see him again. Chris pleads with her then reveals that he is ill. Sharon doesn't believe him and accuses him of trying it on.
Sharon plans to change her surname, Minogue and Bond are two suggestions, but Tracey isn't impressed as everyone else believes that Chris is ill.
Sharon gets a phone call from the prison, Chris has a malignant tumour and has being rushed to hospital. Tracey tells her she should have listened.
Dorien offers to drive her to the hospital. Sharon doesn't know if she wants to go, Dorien tells her she will regret it if she doesn't.
At the hospital Chris is getting ready to go in for surgery. Sharon and Chris remember the past, until Chris tells her about a one night stand by mistake, he thought it was Sharon.
Sharon feels trapped now that Chris is ill as everyone will expect her to act like the loving wife again.
The surgery is a success and Chris is expected to make a full recovery.
Chris mocks Sharon when she tells him she is trying out a different surname each day, she doesn't want a Greek one. When the nurse comes in to tell her visiting time is over she calls Sharon by a Greek surname, leaving Chris in hysterics.
