Everyone is eager to take part, and rehearsals are supervised by an old flame of Joyce's - TV's Cyril Babcock (guest star Matthew Kelly) - an ageing star whose impatience with the talent-lite contestants leads to a dance-off with smouldering Mateo.

Kenneth hires a drab assistant for his salon whose minimal knowledge of hair-dressing and the English language leads to an unfortunate accident with her first client - Solana guest Mr Dixon. Kenneth tries to cheer up Gavin - who's sorely missing partner Troy, but Gavin's very reluctant to take part in the dance competition (though Kenneth has a good idea who his partner could be).
