Beadle's About trivia
Parts of Beadle's About were based on the American radio and TV quiz show Truth Or Consequences, created by Ralph Edwards in 1940. Accordingly, the series was produced in assocation with Ralph Edwards Productions and Action Time.
Alongside 94 regular episodes of the series, at least 19 compilation specials were produced, airing at various periods throughout the programme's run.
Some sources report a 95th episode, the final installment of Series 10, to have been pulled before broadcast and never shown.
