Further details
The BBC's big comedy talent search heads north to Scotland and the iconic Paisley Town Hall, which, following a multi-million-pound revamp has been transformed into a world-class venue and top performance spaces. Five acts take to the stage in front of a packed house of more than 200 comedy lovers.
Award-winning Glaswegian stand-up comedian Larry Dean is the host for the evening and joining him are the three judges - writer, comedian and actor Ashley Storrie, who recently picked up two BAFTA nominations for her BBC Three comedy, Dinosaur; and the writer of the multi-award-winning Scottish sitcom, Two Doors Down, Gregor Sharp. Plus, our head judge, Babatunde Aleshe, is on hand to keep the house in order.
Craig Scott, Maddy Fernando, Jonathan Oldfield, JoJo Maberly and Katie McLeod perform their set before the judges decide who will go through to the Grand Final in November.
