Animal Antics sees one man and his 'dog' host a spoof news programme featuring amusing animal-based clips, packaged and presented as news stories.
Anchoring the show is Tim Brooke-Taylor, with his 'newshound' Sparky (played by Matthew Crosby) providing expert analysis on the animal kingdom.
Together they offer their differing perspectives on news from the animal kingdom, whilst providing a humorous insight into the special and unique relationship that exists between one man and his dog. From criminal cats to piano playing pugs, this is the news as you've never seen it before
Tim Brooke-Taylor comments on the series: "When I was presented with the idea of this show I thought 'this sounds good'. Believe me it's much, much better than that. The only problem I have is being upstaged by very, very funny animals."
