As the airmen don new disguises, General Von Klinkerhoffen is on the warpath. He is particualrly suspicious of the café: after all, why would a small provincial establishment have hanging on its wall a genuine Van Gogh...?

René has hidden The Fallen Madonna on the back of an old painting. The General notices that the "old painting" is a van Gogh and confiscates it. The British airmen, meanwhile, have new disguises as a waitress and a street walker.
