White Box - Comic Relief Special

Edina and Patsy arrive at BBC Television Centre with Edina's client Emma Bunton - who is due to perform on the Red Nose Day telethon.

Further details

Edina and Patsy arrive at BBC Television Centre with Edina's client Emma Bunton - who is set to perform on the Red Nose Day telethon for Comic Relief. Edina attempts to kick her out of the car and leave, but Emma insists that Eddy, as her representative, should accompany her.

Once in the dressing room, Edina decides that Emma should try to connect with director and Comic Relief boss Richard Curtis so that she can get into one of his films. Curtis comes to the dressing room and Edina and Patsy, not recognising him, embarrass Emma in front of him.

Outraged and humiliated for the last time, Emma gives Edina a cheque to pass on to the charity and leaves, firing her as her PR representative. Edina and Patsy proceed to get drunk in the dressing room - and Patsy urinates behind a pot plant.

They are soon confronted by a Comic Relief runner wanting to know where Emma is, but Eddy attempts to give advice on how to operate the event more profitably, and claims that her donation to the cause is her time.

Patsy then realises that they are at the BBC - the home of television, from Bill And Ben to Eurovision - and when Emma is called to stage, she convinces Edina that they should go in her place.

At Graham Norton's introduction, Edina and Patsy stagger drunkenly onto the stage. Patsy is frozen with nerves as Edina takes over, mumbling the only song she knows, before Patsy cuts her off with the news "Weed!". As Eddy calls for a cloth to mop up Patsy's accident, Norton ushers the duo off stage.
