- The Last Shout - The Last Shout - Part 1

With continued work and family upheaval, Eddy's showing the strain. Saffy's engaged to be married, and Patsy's being thrown out of her flat, but the irrepressible duo have a jet-set skiing holiday to look forward to...

Further details

Edina is attempting to find inner-peace with the help of a dolphin that lives in a pool in her en-suite. At the office, Bubble is gone and Patsy's former colleague Katriona has taken up her position - apparently just as uselessly.

Patsy herself is still looking for a new job, and the Oddbins she lives above is expanding so she must now move too. The pair look forward to a trip to the ski resort of Val d'Isère while Mother looks forward to a visit from her grey nomad friends Mac and Millie.

Meanwhile, Saffron's arrogant boyfriend Paolo pops the big question - and Saffron says 'yes'! Edina and Patsy ignore Saffron's big news and live it up at the ski resort - even though the celebrity jet-set that they hoped to find there is nowhere in sight.

After a day of skiing for Edina and sex for Patsy, the girls indulge in a drunken bender. Edina suddenly becomes depressed and attempts to phone Saffy; Patsy cuts the line and the pair get into a drunken brawl. Although they're soon reconciled, the interior of their expensive chalet is somewhat worse for wear!

Back in London, Saffron has started to prepare for the wedding with the help of her father Justin, and the controlling Paolo begins altering the clothes she's permitted to wear. Gran arrives at the house with a disguised Bo, who is on the run from the Scientologists - but she has forgotten to collect Mac and Millie from the airport.

On the ski fields, Edina has a near-death experience. Finding herself in Heaven, God informs her that it is not her time yet and that she has something important to do...
